About 6 years ago we found out that a sweet Heart Family who had been in the hospital for months while waiting for their daughters new Jesus heart spent Christmas bedside with their baby girl. They didn’t want to leave her side so for dinner, they ran to Del Taco. This broke our hearts as we remembered the feeling of never wanting to leave our baby either and thus started a New Tradition. Every year since, Little Heart Warriors has helped host a Christmas or Christmas Eve Dinner at the hospital. Where parents can walk down the hall to a room filled with a home cooked Christmas Dinner. They can choose to stay and eat with other heart families or make a plate to go. With no worries of leaving the hospital and their baby.

What better way for us to show our Thanks than for Little Heart Warriors to pay it forward on Thanksgiving. Since 2014 Little Heart Warriors have been Blessed to Bless others with a complete Thanksgiving Dinner for 2 for each of the families on the Pediatric Cardiac Unit who are spending their Thanksgiving bedside to their Little Heart Warrior. Stepping into each room and having our Little Heart Warriors hand off a complete meal with Hope that one day things will change is greatest gift. Praying that these families know we support them and although they are in a hospital room, they are not forgotten. And we are so Thankful for all our Sponsors and supporters to make ALL this possible!!

We love our Heart Mamas and understand how hard it is to helplessly watch your baby in the Cardiac ICU. We love you Heart Mamas and are here to support you during this journey.

Meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 5:00pm – 6:00pm in the conference room of the Loma Linda Children’s Hospital across from the Children’s cafeteria. Several of the mothers that started Little Heart Warriors also attend this meeting.
